We are seeking enthusiastic Supply Maths Teachers to join various secondary schools across Norfolk. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about mathematics and education, and are looking to inspire young minds in a dynamic classroom environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Deliver engaging and informative maths lessons to secondary school students.
*Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students’ varying needs and interests.
*Maintain discipline in accordance with the school’s procedures and enforcement of school rules.
*Prepare and mark work to facilitate positive pupil development.
*Keep up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum.
*Coordinate activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, supporting colleagues in the delivery of this specialist area.
*Stay informed about the students’ progress and provide feedback and assistance to help them improve.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
*Experience teaching Maths at secondary school level.
*Strong understanding of the UK secondary education curriculum for Maths.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
*Good organisational and time-management skills.
*Energy, enthusiasm, stamina, patience, dedication, resilience and self-discipline.
*Initiative, leadership and supervisory skills and teamworking abilities.
