Job Description:
We are working with an award winning, established and growing organisation to recruit a People Officer/HR Officer on a fixed term contract.
Reporting to the People Director, and working alongside a small, friendly People Team, this is a key role supporting the learning and development of staff, firm-wide events, wellbeing initiatives and recruitment and onboarding processes.
Key Responsibilities
*Support recruitment and career events, particularly during busy periods.
*Coordinate onboarding plans and deliver induction sessions for new starters.
*Design and deliver engaging in-person and online training sessions.
*Assist with training design and delivery for managers and directors.
*Plan and deliver firm-wide events including annual training and wellbeing days.
*Manage training administration, CPD processes, and course bookings.
*Maintain and update training documentation and office manuals.
*Liaise with external training providers and promote internal learning opportunities.
We are looking for a professional, approachable and organised individual with a genuine passion for supporting people. You will be comfortable working across multiple areas, including training, recruitment, events and wellbeing.
You will ideally have:
*Strong interpersonal and communication skills; confident in delivering presentations and training.
*Experience organising or delivering training, coaching, or staff development initiatives.
*Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) and Canva.
*A positive, flexible, and collaborative approach with a passion for learning and employee experience.
*Experience in HR, training, or coaching is advantageous but not essential.
*You must be able to commit to the full duration of the fixed-term contract and travel as required.
