Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Venue Account Manager (AV Services) to join our team. You will play a key role in managing a talented AV team at a brand-new, state-of-the-art convention centre opening in 2026. The venue features advanced AV technology, including large-format LED screens, and offers a variety of spaces to accommodate a wide range of events.
As the Senior Venue Account Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the on-site AV team and working closely with the venue’s sales and events teams to deliver outstanding technical solutions for clients.
Key Responsibilities
*Team Management: Lead and manage the on-site AV team, ensuring effective resource allocation and coordination with the venue’s sales team.
*Client Consultation: Assist the venue’s events team by providing expert AV advice, participating in client show rounds, and offering creative solutions to enhance events.
*Proposal Development: Work with the events team to develop and produce quotations and proposals tailored to clients’ needs.
*Resource Management: Collaborate with the in-house team to ensure the right AV resources are identified, booked, and prepared for each event.
*Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with the venue’s events team and other key personnel, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
Key qualifications include:
*Experience: Proven experience as a live events AV Account Manager, Venue AV Manager, or in a similar role, with a solid understanding of corporate events.
*Technical Expertise: Previous experience as an AV technician is essential, whether in a venue, as part of an AV events company, or as a freelance technician.
*Sales Drive: Strong sales instincts and the ability to identify opportunities to expand client relationships and deliver comprehensive AV solutions.
*Skills: Exceptional organisational and communication skills, both written and verbal. A strong command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.
*CRM Familiarity: Experience using a CRM system is a plus.
