As the Legal Cashier, your responsibilities will include:
*Manage client and office account transactions in compliance with relevant regulations.
*Ensure accurate processing of payments, receipts, and transfers.
*Reconcile bank accounts and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
*Maintain accurate financial records and provide regular updates to the finance team.
*Assist with month-end processes and reporting requirements.
*Support the preparation of VAT returns and other statutory requirements.
*Handle queries from clients and colleagues regarding financial matters.
*Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and procedures.
Profile
A successful Legal Cashier should have:
*Previous experience in a similar role within professional services.
*Strong knowledge of accounting principles and cashiering practices.
*Proficiency in relevant accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
*Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
*A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
