18-Month FTC
Totum Partners are working with a leading law firm to recruit a Legal Billing Coordinator on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a great opportunity to join a highly regarded firm and be part of a busy finance team based in Birmingham.
Key Responsibilities:
*Raise bills on PMS, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
*Process bills in line with firm policies within 48 hours.
*Ensure compliance with Solicitors’ Accounts Rules and VAT regulations.
*Handle time and disbursement transfers, write-offs, and client financial housekeeping.
*Liaise with lawyers, PAs, and finance teams to resolve billing queries.
*Monitor billing mailboxes and respond to requests promptly.
*Support revenue controllers with financial reporting and maintenance tasks.
Key Skills & Experience:
*Experience in billing, within a law firm.
*Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail.
*Confident using finance systems
*Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
*Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
