The OpportunityThis is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join a dynamic finance team within a well-structured and forward-thinking business.
You’ll play a key role in delivering accurate financial insights, supporting decision-making, and ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day finance operations. This is a hands-on position suited to someone looking to take ownership of management reporting and play an integral role in shaping business performance.
*Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts and reports
*Oversee purchase ledger, sales ledger, and payroll functions
*Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain nominal ledgers
*Manage accruals and prepayments
*Produce monthly financial reports and KPI summaries
*Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and year-end audit preparation
*Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for efficiency
*Support and, when necessary, deputise for the Head of Finance
*Contribute to continuous improvement across finance systems and processes
About YouQualifications
*ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified or part-qualified
Experience
*Previous experience operating at this level
*Proven track record preparing management accounts and working across departments
Skills & Attributes
*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
*Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
*High level of accuracy and attention to detail
*Organised, adaptable, and able to meet deadlines
*Confident working both independently and collaboratively
