Motor Defence Paralegal - Full Time - Preston
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Are you a motivated Paralegal with experience or a keen interest in motor defence and litigation? Our client, a highly respected national law firm, is looking for a dedicated Motor Defence Paralegal to join their established team in Preston.
As a recruiter working closely with this firm, we’re seeking someone who is confident, detail-oriented, and ready to progress within a fast-paced, supportive legal environment.
The Role
In this role, you will assist solicitors within the firm’s Motor Defence department.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing a caseload of motor defence files under supervision.
Drafting legal documents, correspondence, and court forms.
Liaising with clients, insurers, witnesses, and experts.
Reviewing evidence, police reports, and accident documentation.
Preparing cases for hearings and assisting with trial bundles.
Maintaining accurate file management and compliance with SRA requirements.
About You
We’re looking for someone with:
Previous experience within motoring offences, claims, insurance litigation, or personal injury defence (ideal but not essential).
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
A genuine interest in motor defence and civil litigation.
Proficiency in case management systems and Microsoft Office.
A law degree or equivalent legal qualification (LPC or SQE desirable).
