The Role
As Senior Production Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient manufacturing performance. You’ll identify and deliver process improvements, analyse production data, and work closely with technical, maintenance, and operations teams to achieve site and business objectives.
Senior Production Engineer Key Responsibilities
• Lead and implement continuous improvement projects to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency
• Investigate production issues and implement sustainable solutions
• Analyse plant performance data and drive OEE improvements
• Support production and maintenance teams to optimise reliability and output
• Promote a culture of operational excellence using Lean / Six Sigma tools
• Lead or support incident investigations and corrective actions
• Deputise for the Operations Manager when required and maintain competence as an Incident Controller
About You
• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Chemistry, or a related discipline
• Proven experience in chemical or process manufacturing environments
• Strong knowledge of process safety, continuous improvement, and operational best practice
• Experience with Lean / Six Sigma methodologies preferred
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to lead and influence others
