Fractional CFO / Finance Director – Leeds
Contract: 6 months | Commitment: 2 days per week (minimum 1 day on-site) | Day Rate: Negotiable
About the Role

We are supporting a respected public sector organisation in Leeds through a critical period of transformation. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced finance leader to provide strategic and hands-on financial leadership at the highest level.
You will work closely with the CEO and HR Director to shape financial strategy, strengthen governance, and drive commercial resilience. This role offers flexibility and the chance to make a meaningful impact in a values-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
*Lead financial strategy and planning to support organisational transformation
*Advise senior leadership on financial positioning, risks, and growth opportunities
*Oversee financial operations, governance, and compliance
*Support pricing models, contract strategy, and negotiations
*Represent the organisation in high-level discussions with stakeholders
About You
*Proven experience as CFO, Finance Director, or equivalent senior finance role
*Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
*Strong commercial and strategic thinking
*Experience in public sector or regulated environments preferred
*Confident operating at both strategic and hands-on levels
