Personal Injury Solicitor – Leeds
A highly regarded national law firm is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Solicitor, Legal Executive, or accomplished file handler to join its growing personal injury team. This is a fantastic opportunity to handle a caseload of orthopaedic RTA claims from cradle to grave, within a supportive and progressive legal environment.

The role requires office presence in Leeds twice a week.
This role is ideal for a technically strong Litigator who thrives on delivering high-quality outcomes for clients while working collaboratively within a high-performing team.
The Role:
You will manage a caseload of litigated and non-litigated orthopaedic personal injury claims, including:
*RTA claims involving fractures (e.g. ribs, limbs, fingers, toes)
*Primarily portal claims, with fast-track potential
*Escalation of higher value/multi-fracture claims exceeding £25K to Multi-Track/SI teams
*Handling cases independently from inception to resolution
This is a rewarding position offering both challenge and variety, suited to candidates who are focused on maximising damages and delivering excellent client service.
Key Responsibilities:
*Manage your caseload efficiently from instruction through to settlement or trial
*Provide a high standard of client care and maintain regular communication
*Investigate liability and quantum thoroughly, raising and advising on issues such as contributory negligence
*Progress cases within the MOJ/OIC portals and escalate when necessary
*Maintain accurate records and timely updates on a case management system
*Liaise with medical experts, counsel, insurers and external agencies
*Assist and mentor junior members of the team where appropriate
*Identify opportunities to convert suitable claims to fast or multi-track
*Ensure compliance with procedural rules and timeframes (CPR)
About You:
*Qualified Solicitor, CILEX, or experienced personal injury file handler
*Proven experience handling fast-track RTA claims, including MOJ and OIC portal work
*Sound knowledge of CPR, litigation process and relevant case law
*Excellent communication, client care and negotiation skills
