Reed Engineering are working alongside our client who are looking to add a CNC Turner to their team on a permanent basis due to a growth period. You’ll be based within the Glenrothes area.
Hours: Monday – Thursday 7am – 5.15pm
Hourly Rate: £14.79 – £19.72 (DOE)
Daily Duties –
*Set up and operate machines to produce parts according to specifications.
*Review and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job orders to determine machining operations, sequences, and tooling requirements
*Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and cutting tools for the job

Conduct quality checks using suitable precision measuring instruments
*Maintain accurate records of production data e.g. job numbers, timings, and materials
*Make necessary adjustments to machine settings, tools, or materials to maintain production quality and efficiency
Candidate Requirements –
*Time-served or relevant machining experience
*Ability to operate / program machines Fanuc control systems
*Candidates at all levels will be considered for this opportunity
