Job Description:
Newstaff Employment Services is recruiting for a part time Commercial Property Lawyer to join a successful firm of solicitors based in Milton Keynes/Caddington/Tring.
This role could suit someone returning to work or winding down as it is a part time role with some flexibility offered in terms of working hours / days.
The Role: You will be supervising one NQ solicitor and providing training where required as well as undertaking your own work.
Essential Requirements:
*Qualified solicitor with solid post-qualification experience in commercial property law.
*Strong technical knowledge of property transactions, including leases, acquisitions, disposals, bridging loans, option agreements, and auction sales/purchases.
*Proven ability to manage a varied caseload independently while delivering high-quality, timely advice.
*Experience supervising or mentoring junior lawyers, with the ability to provide constructive feedback and support.
*Excellent drafting, negotiation, and problem-solving skills with a commercial mindset.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
*Organised and adaptable, with the ability to prioritise effectively in a part-time capacity.
Salary: £230 - £280 per hour / pay negotiable depending on experience
