Job Description:
SALES ADMINISTRATOR JOB SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for an organised Administrator to join their growing team as a Sales Administrator. Key tasks will be to manage the sales order process, dealing with both internal colleagues and customers directly (over the telephone and via email) ensuring orders are processed and any associated queries or issues, are resolved effectively.
Previous customer service / administration experience is essential for this role, as is the confidence to work with multiple systems and accurately update data and customer information as required.
Ideally, previous experience of processing orders from initial enquiry through to post delivery, would be advantageous.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SALES ADMINISTRATOR
*As a Sales Administrator, you will work closely with the wider department to provide customers with a first-class service, at all times. The role will include liaising with customers over the telephone and via email, as well as managing customer accounts and processing of orders via the online portal.
*Sales Order Processing and Queries – working from internal systems to assist customers with queries relating to their orders, delivery updates, returns process etc.
*Updating internal CRM – record all relevant calls, emails, tasks and any other information required.
*Follow up on quotations / queries relating to quotations, in a timely manner - this may see you liaising with other internal departments to ensure that queries are resolved appropriately.
SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
*Previous experience as a Sales Administrator, processing high volumes of orders would be favorable.
*Customer service experience and clear communication skills are also key for this position - you will be liaising with internal teams, as well as customers / 3rd parties. (In person, over the telephone and via email.)
*The ability to remain calm under pressure, as you will often be working to tight deadlines
*Ideally, you will have worked in a fast paced environment, particularly FMCG / Distribution or manufacturing.
*Good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages - essential
*Previous experience of working on CRM / ERP packages is important too. Our client has a very innovative approach and are constantly reviewing their systems and processes to ensure that they are able to deliver an outstanding overall service to their customers. The ability to quickly adapt in changing environments, is therefore very important.
*Strong organisational and administration skills
*Excellent and accurate data entry skills are essential, as you will be updating customer records, and logging information onto various internal systems.
