Job Description:
A leading regional law firm is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to join its highly regarded Property team based in Bradford. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious conveyancer looking to develop their career within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
Both part time and full-time applications are considered.
You will manage their own caseload in line with the firm’s procedures and quality standards, covering a wide range of transactions including sales and purchases, freehold and leasehold, flats, shared ownership, help to buy and new build properties.
You will have proven experience dealing with new build matters and be confident in maintaining and developing strong working relationships with residential property developers.
You will be able to work with minimal supervision, delivering high standards of client service and demonstrating commercial awareness. You will be responsible for providing clear advice and guidance to clients, keeping them regularly informed on progress and costs and ensuring all work complies with SRA regulations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing your own conveyancing caseload from instruction to completion
- Meeting billing and time-recording targets
- Regularly reviewing live matters, outstanding bills, debtors, WIP and client balances
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships to ensure high levels of service
- Assisting with team queries and supporting the development of junior colleagues
- Undertaking training and development to stay up to date with relevant legislation and best practice, including Law Society CQS training
- Promoting the firm’s services and engaging in business development initiatives
- Carrying out all duties in line with the firm’s Equality and Diversity policy
