Recruit4Staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading company in their search for a Electrical Design Engineer to work in their leading facility in Shrewsbury.
For the successful Electrical Design Engineer our client is offering:
*Competitive basic salary up to £55,000 - Depending on experience
*Working Days 8am - 4:30pm with a 2pm finish on Fridays, although flexibility is required
*Permanent position
*20 days holiday + bank holidays
*Overtime is paid at x1.5 during weekdays and Saturdays / x2 on Sundays

The Role - Electrical Engineer:
*Design and manufacturing of electrical equipment & control systems
*Generating product technical files IE Bill of materials / Instructions etc
*Generating initial basic concept design, with the Customer & inhouse design team
*Creating PLC wiring diagrams & schematic drawings using CAD
*Attending site meetings if necessary
*Preparing of product documents and writing up reports
*Modification of drawings
*Researching suitable solutions and estimation of costs in line with timescales
*Ensuring work generated meets company standards
What our client is looking for in a Electrical Design Engineer
*City & Guilds Electrical Qualification, or similar - ESSENTIAL
*You will possess previous experience of working within an electrical environment
*We are looking for candidates who demonstrate strong Electrical based skills, and is suitably qualified
*Knowledge of fault finding / diagnostics & Installation
*Working knowledge of PLC/HMI/SCADA software is highly beneficial
*Knowledge of Siemens PLC is highly favourable
*Able to understand Electrical Drawings
*Ability to fault find on existing systems
