About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Chef de Partie to join a professional kitchen team. You will be responsible for preparing, cooking and presenting high-quality dishes to specification while maintaining excellent hygiene, quality and food cost control standards.
Key Responsibilities*Prepare, cook and present dishes according to recipes and standards.
*Support menu development and seasonal menu planning.
*Ensure dishes meet taste, quality and presentation standards before service.
*Maintain high standards of cleanliness across your workstation and kitchen areas.
*Follow HACCP, food hygiene, health and safety regulations at all times.
*Monitor stock levels and report shortages to senior chefs.
*Minimise waste through correct food handling and storage.
*Assist with training and mentoring junior chefs and apprentices.
*Communicate effectively within the kitchen team and with front-of-house staff.
*Maintain knowledge of menu items, including allergens.
What We’re Looking For*Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Commis ready to step up.
*Passion for food quality and presentation.
*Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
*Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
*Team-focused with good communication skills.
