Elizabeth ?Liz? Chapman initially embarked upon a career in HR with a corporate organisation in their head office. Her progressive career took her to the role of HR Officer, holding a range of responsibilities including head office recruitment. She realised her passion was working with all aspects of recruitment, so left the corporate HR sector and joined a recruitment agency, placing permanent candidates into vacancies. Several years later the natural progression for her was to launch her recruitment consultancy, and in 2020 EC Appointments was founded.
