After finishing 12 years in the British Army, 9 years of which was working as an Electronics Engineer on helicopters around the world I then spent the last 3 years as a instructor working with young soldiers helping them develop their military skills, I then left to pursue a career in recruitment.I have been in the world of technical recruitment for the last 20+ years working in various roles such as Hands-on Recruiter, Account Manager, Team Manager and Divisional Manager working not just in the UK but also across Europe and the USA.I have worked for large corporates and small niche agencies too holding various roles all centred around recruiting and ultimately finding the best talent for some of the most exciting tech companies in the world.I have engaged and managed the recruitment journey for candidates on my doorstep right the way from Japan through to California (the long way round), from the initial call through to the best part of the objective – offering them their next role and career progression.After over 20 years in recruitment working for other people, I decided to take the plunge and go it alone and have set up Spiral Solutions which is all about doing what I am good at, great communication and understanding the needs of my customers, working with them and the candidate community to deliver exceptional results.
