Travel Agent (Ultra Luxury) Sales Direct To Consumer (New Business Team)
My client is well established offering high end clients travel agency services, from flights and hotels to additional products and services.
The work for individuals and businesses, small and large and the role would require you to be prepared to train and learn from the ground zero, unless of course you have industry experience which is relevent.
On a typical day, you will be managing multiple client enquiries who will be asking for dates and destinations to travel to, perhaps with additional product as mentioned above.
Training in this position does require heavy IT systems useage, and training to use those systems can start very simply but it does work it’s way up to the extremely advanced level, where mathmatics and logic are tested as much as a scientist perhaps would.
However, the main purpose of the role is to train to a suitable level, your written, spoken and calculation skills will be tested whilst you are engaging with a client on the telephone, or email and using the systems to produce a quotation that meets the criterea and standards requested.
To train someone into this role, requires the organisation to be very focused and take that responsibility to train very seriously, they will be investing heavilly into you to do so.
For them to do this, you will need to also be capable of delivering the confidence that you are the real deal in this, all the clients are inbound, there is no canvassing or cold calling. In fact it is the opposite, the clients will be delivered to you on a volume basis so your organisation and service delivery skills need to be on point.
The team are looking to reconstuct their business post covid, and see various opportunities ahead and want to grow their team to a very effective and efficient standard, one that is built trust to joina high functioning team.
It will be important that you have customer facing skills, can demonstrate you have used systems, can deliver effective sales and customer service epxerience, care about clients and are a very good problem solver on the fly.
