Due to expansion, our client is looking for an experienced Bridging Underwriter to join their office-based, dynamic team.
Underwriter - Specialist Finance (Bridging and Development)
Location: West End, London
Key Responsibilities:
* Assess and evaluate applications in the specialist finance space, with a focus on Bridging and Development,

* Background with a specialist lender, demonstrating an understanding of the intricacies of this sector.
* Additional experience in underwriting term/BTL (Buy-to-Let) products, would be a benefit.
* Collaborate effectively within our fantastic team, contributing to a positive and dynamic working environment.
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years of underwriting experience in the specialist finance.
* Experience in bridging, development or BTL Mortgages is acceptable, as long as the underwriting managed has been on a more manual basis (not just ’computer says yes/no’)
* A high calibre professional with a proven ability to make sound underwriting decisions.
* Excellent team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
