Responsibilities;
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for our clients using Sage 50 & Quickbooks Online software and manual systems where necessary.
* Record financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
* Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures including reconciliation of ledger accounts.
* Produce financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
* Assist in the preparation of annual accounts and corporation tax returns.
* Preparing and submitting HMRC related returns including monthly PAYE/NI and quarterly VAT returns.
* Processing client payrolls including addressing general payroll queries, pension submissions and related matters.
* Providing administrative support and performing any other ad-hoc duties as required.
* Serving as the key contact between the company and clients, effectively addressing client queries, ensuring timely communication and building strong relationships.
Requirements;
* 2 years of work experience as a bookkeeper and excellent understanding of double entry
* Strong experience with both Quickbooks and Sage 50
* Ideally AAT Level 4 qualified and looking to embark on the ACCA
* French speaker would be a huge advantage but isn’t a must.
