Are you passionate about teaching and learning? Do you have experience in leading a subject area (English, Maths or Physical Education) in a secondary school or specialist education provision? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a subject lead at our partner school.
As a subject lead, you will be responsible for planning, delivering and assessing the curriculum for your subject across all key stages. You will also be expected to mentor and support other teachers in your subject, as well as contribute to the whole school development plan. You will work closely with the senior leadership team, the other subject leads and the external partners to ensure high-quality provision for our students.
Our school is a specialist education provision for students with complex mental health needs, including ADHD and social, emotional and mental health difficulties. To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A relevant teaching qualification and QTS/QTLS

- A good understanding of the national curriculum and the assessment frameworks for your subject

- A commitment to inclusive and differentiated teaching and learning

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- A positive, resilient and proactive attitude
