Job Description:
Payroll Administrator
* Location: Tadworth, Surrey (own transport or local candidate preferred due to the lack of public trnsport)
* Job Type: Temporary (3 months)
* Salary: £30,000 per annum pro-rata (£15.38 per hour PAYE)
* Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Hybrid working model after an initial two week training period- 3 days office and 2 from home after this time)
We are currently seeking a Payroll Administrator for a 3-month temporary role based in Tadworth. The ideal candidate will possess strong Excel skills and, while payroll administration experience is desired, it is not essential, but some form of office administration is key. This is a hybrid role, requiring 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home, with an initial 2 weeks of full-time office-based training.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Manipulating data on Excel for an interface tasks, which is a lengthy process conducted once a week.
* Handling email and phone queries related to payroll.
* Processing leavers and managing associated administrative tasks.
* Dealing with incoming and outgoing post.
* Undertaking any other ad hoc tasks as required to support the payroll team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
* Strong administrative skills.
* Payroll administration experience is preferred but not mandatory.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Adaptability to handle various tasks and prioritize effectively.
