Job Description:
I am supporting on of the UK’s rapidly ecommerce group, with their search for a passionate Social Media Executive to join their digital marketing team. If you have paid social and budget management experience, plus a knack for creating and managing multiple campaigns across various platforms and are ready to take the next step in your career, we want to hear from you. This role is onsite in Gillingham in their state-of-the-art working facilities with inhouse gym.
Day to Day of the Social Media Executive role:
* Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness, website traffic, and online conversions.
* Manage a substantial annual social advertising budget, aligning with business objectives.
* Build and optimise social advertising campaigns across all stages of the customer journey.
* Produce and schedule engaging content, including working with internal teams for multimedia content creation.
* Monitor social media performance, analyse metrics, and report on insights to drive continuous improvement.
* Collaborate with influencers and micro-influencers to expand brand reach.
* Run customer focus groups to inform social media strategy.
* Support SEO and digital PR efforts to enhance online visibility.
* Maintain compliance with GDPR and FCA best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications for the Social Media Executive role:
* Proficiency in social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
* Experience with Meta Ads portal and Business Suite.
* Excellent command of written and spoken English.
* Marketing-based qualification (degree or CIM course) is desirable.
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Digital Marketing role or relevant industry experience.
* Proven track record of meeting targets and deadlines.
* Experience in automotive retail is an advantage.
