Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Workshop Assistant to join an employer in St Albans. As a workshop assistant, you will provide support to the existing team by assisting with various tasks and ensuring smooth operations. This is a hands-on role that ideally requires some electrical knowledge.
Duties:
- Assist with machine repair and maintenance
- Assemble and disassemble machines as needed
- Perform routine inspections and troubleshoot issues
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time
- Prepare machines for dispatch
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role OR a relevant qualification
- Basic electrical knowledge and aptitude desirable
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
- Customer service-oriented mindset
