Purchasing Administrator
Thirsk, North Yorkshire
£28.000 - £31,000 per annum
Permanent Office based position
Commutable from Harrogate, Northallerton, Ripon, York, Knaresborough, Boroughbridge
Hours of Work Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5pm
Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Purchasing Administrator for a company based in Thirsk, North Yorkshire.
Duties
* The daily running of the department
* Import and export clearance management
* Working with supply chain on ERP ensuring raw material availability and stock accuracy
* Purchasing planning, placing orders
* Purchasing tracking,
* Expediting orders where required
* Obtaining/Negotiating price and terms & conditions
* Dealing with supplier invoice queries
* Maintaining Suppliers Database
* Working with regulatory and quality teams on product and supplier approval
* Development of good relations with the existing and new suppliers
* Dealing with supplier complaints
* Liaising with relevant departments
* Any other duties as requested by management.
Skills/Knowledge/Experience
* Minimum of 3 years (or equivalent) in similar role
* Proficient knowledge of all Microsoft office Packages
* Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to prioritise effectively and work under pressure.
* A strong work ethic with the ability to show initiative and demonstrate excellent communication skills at all levels.
* Be a strong team player with ability to work on cross functional teams and projects
* An ability to work on own initiative and to work collaboratively with others
