Job Description:
We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Care Assistants to join our client’s team. As a Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing person-centered care to their residents with dementia. They offer both full-time and part-time positions with flexible hours to suit your schedule.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
·Assist residents with daily personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
·Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, ensuring they feel valued and understood.
·Assist with mobility and transfers, using appropriate equipment and techniques.
·Administer medications and monitor residents’ health conditions.
·Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
·Engage residents in meaningful activities and social interactions.
·Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents’ conditions.
 
Requirements:
 
·A genuine passion for working with individuals living with dementia.
·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
·Patience, empathy, and a caring nature.
·Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
·Previous experience in a dementia care setting is preferred but not essential.
·A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle is essential.
·Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
