Project Support (EU Policy) - Part-time

Euro London is proud to be working with an international non-profit organization in the public health sector who are currently seeking a Project Support Officer for their EU Policy department.
This role is for a contractor who is happy to work 20 hours per week on a fully remote basis. The position is the perfect opportunity for someone who wants to make a difference in the public health sector and has experience working with EU policies.
The role:
* Starting with a 6-months contract, subsequent contracts are of 12-months and renewed annually
* 20 hours per week to be agreed between company and contractor
* 100% home-office
* Paid by hour, candidates will need to have a registered company to invoice the organization for the hours worked 
* Assist in the management and implementation of EU funded projects, ensuring alignment with the organisation’s strategic objectives and compliance with EU regulations
* Support the preparation and submission of project proposals, including task allocation, budgeting, and administrative documentation
* Implement a range of patient involvement activities across specific Project work packages, as agreed in the Project plan in collaboration with the policy officer and team
* Support advocacy and lobbying efforts, contributing to the organisation’s influence on EU policy-making relevant to public health
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of EU legislative processes, Horizon Europe, and IHI programme requirements

Who we are looking for:
* 3 - 5 years of demonstrable experience in project management, policy/public affairs, or advocacy work at a national or European level
* Holder of a Bachelor’s degree in a related subject, such as health policy, public health, political science, public policy, or international relations can be beneficial
* Strong understanding of EU policies, particularly in health or cancer-related domains
* Fluent in English, written and spoken
* Willingness and availability to travel across Europe as required for project activities, meetings, and events
* Experience in managing EU-funded projects, preferably within Horizon Europe and IHI frameworks
