Job Description:
Freightserve recruitment are looking for an experienced Import Team Leader for a well established niche sector Freight Forwarder based in the Heathrow area.
Role and Responsibilities:-
* Perform and complete daily customs clearance entries start to finish
* Supervise staff
* Responsible for all customs requirements
* Ensuring import compliance and HMRC regulations are adhered to
* Communicate with all relevant internal departments with regards to shipments
* Liaise with Airlines for BI and Shed transfers
* Arrange airline collections for transfer to ETSF
* Liaise with HMRC and other government bodies
* Dealing with a variety of commodities
* Release shipments from the warehouse
* Deal with all queries quickly and efficiently
* Provide a high level of customer service
* Self-managing and pro-active
* Ability to work in a team environment
* Competent with IT
* Proficient in using CDS
Working hours are Monday - Friday 0900 - 1730
