Job Description:
This role requires a strategic thinker who can lead internal communications for a large organization. The Head of Internal Communications will be responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies that promote a positive company culture and drive genuine employee engagement.

Our client is a large B2B manufacturing and production company employing 1,500 colleagues nationally. With a head office in Yorkshire, they also have multiple sites across the UK.
Description
The responsibilities for the Head of Internal Communications will include:
* Develop and implement an internal communications strategy aligned with company goals
* Create engaging content for a variety of internal communication mediums
* Coordinate with different departments to ensure consistency in messaging
* Monitor and measure the effectiveness of internal communications
* Lead initiatives to improve employee engagement
* Manage crisis communications when necessary
* Coordinate internal events to promote company culture
* Oversee the internal communications budget
* Management of 2 direct reports
* Working closely with the marketing and brand team in developing the firms ESG strategy
* Travelling to sites nationally when required for key events and initiatives
Profile
A successful ’Head of Internal Communications’ should have:
* A degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field
* 8+ years experience in Internal Communications Management, ideally at a Head of Level.
* Experience in managing a communications team
* Ability to work with senior stakeholders, and manage relationships upwards.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
* A proven track record in developing and implementing effective communication strategies
* Experience in project management and event planning
* Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team
