Job Description:
On behalf of Tesco Bank, AMS are now looking for a Project Manager to work in their Edinburgh based team on a hybrid basis for an initial contract length of 12 months.

Job description - the role
Tesco Bank have recently been acquired by Barclays. You will play a critical part in delivering a key component of this large separation plan as they integrate into Barclays.
This could mean involvement in the separation of their Financial, HR and Data systems. You will establish relationships with the Platforms, Value Streams and CoE’s to ensure smooth delivery of Separation.
* As a Project Manager you’ll have exposure to a wide range of bank stakeholders as you manage components of a major separation programme.
* You’ll play a key part in preparing Tesco Bank to become a core part of Barclays.
* You’ll work with the technical platform teams across a wide range of different role types and technologies.
* You’ll oversee the planning, financial management and delivery of work that forms part of the Transition Service Agreements between the respective companies.

Candidate Profile: Key accountabilities, skills & experience
Essential experience:
* Experience in a Project Management role, managing either a large more complex project or more than one delivery change/small project at any one time.
* Have experience of dealing with deliveries from 3rd parties and required integration into existing in-house applications and processes.
* Outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills, collaborating with business and engineering resources of all levels.
* Experience of working closely with other business and technical stakeholders to shape projects into manageable deliverables.
* Strong appetite to manage the delivery of projects which warrant a Waterfall approach to delivery, however also having the flexibility to work within an organisation which is adopting Agile ways of working.
Desirable experience:
* Delivering Transition Service Agreements.
* Leading technical platform teams for both Run and Change.
* Preferably have some experience in a Financial Services or Payments environment.
* Experience of both Waterfall and Agile (SAFE) ways of working.
