We have a brilliant opportunity for a Senior HR Business Partner to join the Foodbuy Executive Team to drive our People Strategy. Foodbuy are currently in an exciting period of growth, with a view of doubling their current headcount over the next 12 months.
Reporting into the Head of HR, the Senior HR Business Partner will be responsible for engaging with all colleagues within Foodbuy and the wider Compass Group UK HR team and play a lead role in the development and execution of the people pillar. Fostering an inclusive and high-performance culture and driving employee engagement.
As Senior HR Business Partner you will:
* Proactively identify and address potential HR risks and challenges, employing a solutions-orientated approach to problem-solving and play a key role in driving HR initiatives and developing HR solutions that support the Foodbuy’s goals and values
* Serve as a trusted advisor and partner to the Foodbuy Exec, offering insights and recommendations to enhance business decisions and organisational effectiveness. Collaborate with them and their Heads Of populations to understand their teams needs.
* Act as a strategic partner, providing expert guidance & coaching on a wide range of HR matters including performance management, talent management, learning & development, org. development and employee relations.
* Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and SMEs, fostering collaboration and driving positive outcomes.
* Drive the implementation of, and act as Foodbuy lead on HR systems, programs and initiatives from Group and central UK&I team
* Liaise with Reward, Talent Acquisition and line managers to ensure the organisation has the ability to attract, retain and develop the right candidates to implement the business current and future plans.
* Provide input where required into tenders/re-bids and presentations to support the growth of Foodbuy. Ensure that TUPE transfers and contract mobilisations are compliant and managed effectively.
* Engage with/become a member of the Foodbuy Well-being Team, supporting, promoting and coordinating activities of MHFA and D&I ambassadors in their work to make Foodbuy a great place to work, promoting a positive, supportive and inclusive culture
The successful Senior HR Business Partner will:
* Hold CIPD Level 7 or have equivalent experience
* Have demonstrable ER knowledge in a similar position
* Be a business-focused, adaptable and agile individual who is prepared to operate and interact both at Executive level and also perform administrative tasks and meet operational needs
* Have demonstrable experience of navigating the complexities of a dual reporting line.
* Possess strong analytical & problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
* Be honest, transparent and consistently fair in their approach
* Be willing to travel on an ad hoc basis
* Be able to communicate and influence at all levels
