Job Description:
Job Title: Accounts Receivable Assistant French Speaking
Location: Blackburn (Permanent) Office Based
Salary: Up to £25,000 plus 5% bonus
I am currently partnered with global organisation that is a market leader within their field. In order to support the continue growth of the business they are recruiting for a French speaking Accounts Receivable Assistant to join their dynamic finance team. This role involves managing accounts receivable processes for French-speaking clients, ensuring timely collections, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor the end-to-end cash process and investigate any discrepancies.
* Import daily cash processing reports onto SAP.
* Communicate and document discrepancy and forgery reports.
* Post debtors’ invoices and credit notes, and allocate cash receipts to customer accounts.
* Perform monthly reconciliation of cash and card General Ledgers (GLs), writing off within a certain threshold and investigating items outside that threshold.
* Post ad hoc journals as needed.
* Monitor, escalate, and resolve issues with missing sales.
* Upload fuel and shop sales and investigate any variances.
* Escalate issues in a timely and appropriate manner.
* Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
* Conduct sales reconciliations.
* Handle general administration and other ad-hoc duties as required.
Candidate Profile:
* Fluent in French, both written and spoken.
* Previous experience in accounts receivable or a similar finance role.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment and meet deadlines.
