Art Teacher * Job Type: Full-time

We are seeking a dedicated, Part time, Art Teacher to join our team, teaching across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The ideal candidate will be a graduate with qualified teacher status in Art and a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
Day to Day of the role: * Delivering engaging Art lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, in line with the National Curriculum.
* Developing and utilising a range of teaching resources to enhance student learning.
* Employing effective behaviour management strategies to maintain high standards of discipline and achievement.
* Planning and organising lessons with clear objectives to ensure effective learning.
* Utilising ICT and new technologies, including Smartboards, to promote interactive learning.
* Collaborating with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the science department’s resources.
Required Skills & Qualifications: * Graduate with qualified teacher status for Art.
* Experience in successfully teaching Art across Key Stages.
* Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and Art disciplines.
* Good ICT skills and a willingness to use new technologies in teaching.
* Excellent organisational and personal management skills.
* Ability to create new teaching resources and use initiative to enhance learning.
* Effective time-management and the ability to meet deadlines.
* Understanding of health and safety issues in a classroom setting.
* Desirable: Awareness of current issues and developments in Art education, including changes to the KS4 specification.
