Multiple Housing Support Worker Vacancies waiting to be filled
Venn Group would like to introduce the following position of multiple Housing Support Workers for a charity
Position: Housing Support Worker
Location: Durham
Rate: Negotiable depending on experience
Length: 3 months
Hours: 35 hours p/week – occasional evenings, weekends, and on-call rota
The role will predominantly involve:
* Working across 3 various supported accommodation and outreach support services across Durham
* Providing support to service users with multiple needs which may include mental and physical health issues, substance misuse, domestic violence and or housing related support needs
* Helping residents to build on their strengths, overcoming problems and supporting them to move towards a more independent lifestyle
* Creating and delivering tailored, personalised support plans
* Welfare checks
* Budgeting advice
* Dealing with emergency situations, working within Health & Safety especially regarding Risk Assessments, Safeguarding and Lone Working
To be considered for this role you will need to be available to start at short notice, be DBS checked (Enhanced level) and have experience working within support and a similar role previously
