Summary If you’re interested in becoming a Retail Team Leader and have the appetite to engage with visitors and boost our retail potential, then you could be the person for this job.
Hours: 37.5 per week, weekend work required. This role can include some lone working.
Salary: £23,166 per annum
Duration: This is a fixed term contract due to end when the previous employee returns from maternity leave. At this point we cannot confirm exactly how long this contract will last, but it is unlikely to be more than 12 months.

What it’s like to work here Reporting to the Retail Manager, you’ll be supporting the day to day management of the property retail operation so that it’s commercially successful and consistently exceeds our visitors expectations. In addition to the shop, plant sales are seen as a growth area so, whilst not needing to be a plant expert, you must be prepared to support in the management of the plant sales business.

What you’ll be doing You’ll be required to support the day to day management of the property retail operation so that it is commercially successful and consistently exceeds our visitors expectations. You’ll monitor stock and merchandise products to achieve stretching financial targets, leading by example when it comes to maximising our profitability and income.

You’ll also supervise six paid retail staff, a small team of voluntary staff and will work effectively alongside colleagues elsewhere in the property to deliver great service to visitors, promoting and enhancing the property’s sense of place.
