Job Description:
Summary This roles sits within the Visitor Operations and Experience team based at Tyntesfield, part of the wider Bristol portfolio, and involves working across programming, partnerships and children & young people engagement.
Tyntesfield is one of 19 Children and Young People hubs in the National Trust, meaning developing opportunities to engage with diverse children and young people is a key priority for the property, particularly those with least access to nature and heritage in support of the National Trust’s ’Everyone Welcome’ ambitions. Managed by and working closely with the Programming & Partnerships Manager, the role holder will lead on elements of our wider children and young people work, particularly the school learning programme, family programming events and community partnership work aimed at reaching more diverse children.
This role is 2.5 days a week- occasional weekend working will be required during busier school holiday periods to support the delivery of events. This post will be required to take part in a rota to provide daily duty manager cover as key point of contact for escalation of emergency and security issues or customer complaints.
This is a fixed term contract due to end when the previous employee returns from maternity leave. At this point we cannot confirm exactly how long this contract will last, but it is unlikely to be more than 12 months.
Interviews will be held 11th and 12th June.

What you’ll be doing * Leading and managing the Bristol portfolio’s school learning programme.
* Creating and delivering high quality family programming events as part of a wider visitor experience programme.
* Developing community partnerships and delivering activities that support our children and young people ambitions to reach those with least access.
* Collaborating with other teams across the site to plan and deliver activities for children and young people, advocating for and embedding our children and young people priorities across the property.
* Managing a team of children and young people volunteers to support the delivery of these activities.

* Knowledge and experience of school learning or educational programmes, or experience working in an education setting.
* Experience of partnership working with diverse community groups.
* Experience of working with or line managing volunteers.
* Good team working skills and ability to work collaboratively to deliver activities.
