Job Description:
Accounts Payable - Insurance
Are you and Accounts Payable Assistant looking for a new challenge. I have a great role working for an Insurance firm in the City of London on a hybrid basis. This role is an initial 6-month contract to help the team while is it busy!
Responsibilities include:
Entering invoice information onto Concur
Reviewing/Auditing the coding of invoices in Conur
Review daily system reports to ensure invoice/expense report workflows are completed
Provide assistance in resolving vendor invoice and payment issues as necessary to support timely payments
Support month end
Process payment batches accurately in an effective and efficient manner, in accordance with the global procedures and timelines
Handle internal payment queries and liaise with Claims and Finance
Collaborate with various stakeholders in a courteous and professional manner
Other ad hoc duties as directed by line manager
Skills and Experience
A candidate who can think on their feet, pick up new skills quickly and look at the wider picture, challenging processes and resolving issues
Excellent communication skills and a good work attitude, drive, enthusiasm and passion
Experience in a similar role within the Lloyds Insurance/reinsurance market is essential
Strong grasp of business processes and systems
Awareness of Sox Controls
Ability to manage multiple priorities in order to meet deadlines
Additional working hours may be required at peak periods
Energetic and a team player
