Salary to £25,000 per annum + benefits
A leading company in the global procurement and supply sector is seeking a dedicated Accounts Assistant to support their financial operations. Key Responsibilities:
* Accurate input of invoices into our accounting system.
* Verification of purchase orders and invoices.
* Reconciliation of supplier statements.
* Procurement of VAT invoices from suppliers.
* Processing of supplier and customer payments.
* Management of the accounts inbox, ensuring proper distribution of correspondence.
* Assistance to the Finance Manager with financial reconciliations.
* Handling ad hoc accounting tasks and queries.
Skills & Qualifications:
* Proven experience in an Accounts Assistant role or similar capacity.
* Exceptional attention to detail and a keen willingness to learn.
* Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
* A positive attitude and the ability to thrive both in a team and independently.
* The resilience to work effectively under pressure.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with accounting software such as Sage, Xero, Oracle.
