What You Will Do
Strategic Inventory Management:
Plan and purchase inventory from JCI factories and third-party suppliers to meet customer requirements while minimizing excess stock.
Accuracy and Timeliness:
Ensure accuracy in purchase order delivery dates and information, enabling our customer service and sales teams to make informed decisions.
Dynamic Supply Management:
Respond promptly to defer and expedite requests, adjusting stock orders as necessary to maintain supply and meet customer demands.
Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Order Management, Inside Sales, and Demand Planning, to align inventory levels with business objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Stakeholder Engagement:
Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, collaborating to address complex demand-supply imbalances and manage product transitions effectively.
Continuous Improvement:
Drive operational excellence through participation in projects aimed at reducing costs, improving processes, and enhancing supply chain efficiency.
What We Look For
Experience:
2+ years in Supply Planning within a global manufacturing and distribution environment, with a solid understanding of B2B, B2C, and supply chain management.
Communication Skills:
Strong negotiation and communication abilities, with a knack for building trust-based relationships with stakeholders.
Organizational Skills:
Excellent multitasking and prioritization skills, adept at managing competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
Analytical Skills:
Proficient in data analysis and problem-solving, with experience in process formulation and improvement.
Knowledge:
Deep understanding of supply chain planning, inventory management practices, ERP systems, and statistical modelling.
Highly Preferred:
Technical Proficiency:
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP/JDE, proficiency in Microsoft applications, and familiarity with APICS, CPIM, CPSM, or CPF certification.
Continuous Improvement:
Six Sigma/Lean experience, demonstrating a commitment to driving efficiency and process optimization.
