We are currently seeking a Fire Safety Service Technician
for our Fire Safety division at our Aberdeen branch. This role is part of Johnson Controls Global Marine & Offshore Service and will join our team of experienced service technicians in maintaining firefighting equipment. Primarily based in the Aberdeen workshop, this role also involves offshore and marine service visits.

What You Will Do:
Inspection and Maintenance:
* Portable fire extinguishers
* Fire hoses & hydrants.
* Foam making equipment.
* Fixed gaseous fire systems.
* Water-foam based fire systems.
* Wet chemical fire systems
* Fire system cylinders.
* Breathing apparatus
* Breathing air compressors
Other Duties
* Conducting firefighting foam sample testing
* Safety equipment inspection and inventory recording
* Customer interactions and planning work scopes
* Liaising with wider service teams
* Compiling service reports
* Additional tasks as assigned by management.
What We Look For:
Essential
* Experience in a similar role.
* Competence with fire protection equipment and suppression systems as listed.
* Strong communication and numeracy skills
* Willingness to travel Offshore when required (often at short notice for 1–2-week trips)
* Self-motivated with good IT skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Customer-focused approach
* Knowledge of fire and safety legislation
* Interest in the Marine and Offshore fire safety industry
Preferred
* Offshore survival certification (BOSIET)
* OG UK Medical certification
