Location: Central London/North London/Cambridge - Must be able to commute on a regular basis
Salary: £75,000 - £80,000 per annum
Working Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week
Contract: Permanent

As the IELTS UK Senior Product Manager, Academic Proposition, Platform Capability, you will manage both a Capability along our User’s Journey and a segment of the IELTS English language testing product portfolio, focusing on developing and delivering the next generation of IELTS products and propositions as well as further developing and enhancing current IELTS products and related service to drive commercial value. This role will be responsible for the Academic segment of IELTS UK’s English language testing product portfolio. Academic is IELTS’ product portfolio designed to assess readiness to study in the English language.

What you’ll be doing…
* Manages the full lifecycle of assigned customer products/services.
* Responsible for achieving measurable goals tied to the product strategy (OKRs)
* Develops and communicates a clear product vision and strategy.
* Contributes to IELTS business planning and prioritisation.
* Defines a product roadmap aligned with organisational goals.
* Ensures product vision/roadmap matches market trends for sustained success.
* Defines the vision and plan for next-gen products
* Facilitates exploratory research as well as ongoing discovery practices across product teams in partnership with UX Designers.
* Provide strong & focused leadership to a matrixed team of UX, Technical, and Content roles.
* Line manages a small team of Delivery Managers delivering on all aspects of people management from recruitment, induction, performance management, learning and development, talent management, career planning, succession and exit.
* Prioritises and manages enhancements to existing products to maintain competitive advantage.
* Put into practice and promotes ongoing methods to gather user feedback and valuable insights to guide the product’s value and viability.
* Manages and cultivates strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Skilfully conveys insights from market trends and competitor analysis to stakeholders across diverse levels
* Keeps up-to-date with market trends, what customers need, and competitors’ offerings.
* Uses market insights to inform product decisions and maintain a competitive advantage
This job is for you if you are...
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field
* MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
* Familiarity with of English assessment methodologies is a plus but not required.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management or related roles, with a track record of successfully launching and managing products from conception to market
* Experience with digital and offline testing products
* Proven track record of effectively managing product development projects within budget and time constraints.
* Proven track record of successfully leading interdisciplinary teams in dynamic and fast-paced environments.
* Demonstrated ability to drive product innovation and continuous improvement initiatives, coupled with experience in utilising continuous discovery methods and integrating user feedback for product enhancements.
* Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to lead, inspire and motivate cross-functional teams towards a common goal.
* Strategic thinking and capacity to align product development efforts with organisational objectives and market opportunities.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify challenges and develop effective solutions.
* Adaptability and flexibility to navigate ambiguity and adjust priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Results orientation and commitment to achieving targets and driving measurable outcomes.
