New opportunity for an experienced CNC Turner to join this sucessful Precision engineering company. You should be a strong setter/operator ideally with some offline programming experience (AlphaCAM or featureCam an advantage). The shop contains a wide range of CNC Lathes mostly Mazak’s with some other fanuc/haas controlled lathes as well.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC turning machines to produce high-quality precision parts
- Program CNC machines offline using alphaCam software
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet specifications
- Troubleshoot issues that may arise during the production process
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CNC Turner in a manufacturing environment
- An understanding of offline programming
- Experience working with Mazak CNC lathes
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
