Job Description:
Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client based within the Sittingbourne area for Class 1 Day Drivers.
The role will entail:
• General Haulage of recycled waste and recycled paper.
• Delivering to Hubs in various locations.
• The shifts are on average 12 hours long.
• Full time or part time hours available.
• Mainly a driving role including opening/ closing curtains and strapping of the load.
A successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
• Full Class 1 licence (Minimum 1 year’s recent driving experience).
• Valid Digital Tachograph and CPC card.
• No more than 6 points or have the following endorsement codes showing (DD or DR).
• Compliant to all rules and regulations within LGV driving.
• Good roadcraft/ Geographical knowledge.
Shifts Available:
• Monday to Friday 06:00 - 18:00
• Tuesday to Saturday 06:00 - 18:00
Pay Rates:
• £15.23ph (Monday to Friday).
• £22.84ph (Saturday)
• £30.46ph (Sunday)
• Bank Holiday - £30.46ph
The rates are all PAYE and holiday accrual is in addition to the above rates and pay is weekly.
All candidates are required to pass our clients driving assessment +2 shifts training prior to commencing this role.
