Subject Teacher
Location: Ashbourne, DE6
Daily Rate: £145 - £210 (paid to teacher scale)
Full Time: Monday to Friday, Term Time Only
Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm
Start Date: September 2024

LTF Recruitment are working alongside a Secondary School based in Ashbourne who are looking to appoint multiple teachers for various specialisms, teaching both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. Ability to teach a core subject would be highly desirbale, but any specialism will be considered. QTS is essential.
Roles & Responsibilities:
* Planning and delivering engaging lessons to both KS3 and KS4
* Differentiating planning to meet a range of needs
* Delivering AQA KS4 examination content
* Assessing children’s work against the school’s assessment framework
* Liaising with the school SENCO around the progress of children with EHCPs
* Attending weekly CPD sessions within school training programme
Candidate Requirements:
* Holds qualified teacher status (ECTs Welcome)
* Is confident teaching both KS3 and KS4 Science curriculum
* Has excellent classroom control and behaviour management strategies
* Is passionate about teaching and keen to ensure that students make progress
