Job Description:
Work in Leighton Buzzard
Here at Tick Education, we work in Leighton Buzzard with schools, providing them with teaching staff. If you have 3 months experience working with children you could be eligible to join our candidate pool and work in our client schools.
The type of experience you have, duration & qualifications you hold would determine the type of work we can source for you from our schools.
We are currently looking to onboard candidates we call cover supervisors - to be eligible to be a cover supervisor, you must have experience leading, or teaching children, either in a school or similar environment, or through coaching / tutoring of children and have an understanding of KS1 and KS2 curriculum.
As a cover supervisor, you would be able to work as an unqualified classroom teacher - where you would deliver to the children the preplanned work set by the teacher for that day and be responsible for the children completing this work, working in a safe environment and managing their behaviour throughout the day and marking work as you go along.

Requirements forCover Supervisors to work in Leighton Buzzard:-
* To have 3 months or more experience teaching or leading children of primary age
* To have, or be happy to get an enhanced workforce DBS certificate
* To have a passion for teaching or educating
* To ensure safeguarding of children at all times
* To be able to work, potentially at short notice, at any primary school in Leighton Buzzard and surrounding areas like Dunstable, Houghton Regis, Caddington, Luton & Sundon.
* Be able to work from 8.30am (arrival at school) to 3.30pm when children have left school
Desirables:-
* Previousclassroom experience or teaching experience
* To be a driver and have a vehicle, to ensure smooth and prompt arrival to schools when booked for work
* To be flexible - the more flexible you are, and able to take bookings at short notice, the more frequent work will be with you.
* Location based - if you are only able to work in a certain area, this role might not be right for you. We work with schools all over Leighton Buzzard and candidates are required to make their own travel arrangements to get to school on time
