We are searching for a Senior level candidate or above who is interested in expanding their present skill set and project management abilities in this position. Key duties include:
* Managing UK habitat classification surveys and (licenced) protected species surveys;
* Developing complex fee quotations quickly and building tenders;
* Producing technical reports (PEA, BNG, protected species, habitat management plans, BREEAM, HRA and EcIA reports);
* Managing medium- to large-scale projects and being able to monitor financial progress;
* Managing junior ecologists.
* Solving legal and logistical puzzles

This role is a fully remote position, working from home and in the field in your local area. You have the flexibility of managing your own time without having to visit a office location.

Senior Ecologists and current Principals seeking a change are encouraged to apply.

You must hold at least one protected species licence, a relevant bachelor’s degree (or higher), and full membership in the Chartered Institute of Ecology & Environmental Management, or MCIEEM. An accreditation in Personal Track Safety would be advantageous.
