Despite the high-profile, international nature of their business, this company has a personal, SME feel and this role will work very closely with the highly knowledgeable and supportive Financial Controller.
Our client has an ethos of creating effective partnerships and you will support the day-to-day requirements whilst also demonstrating a commercial attitude, providing analysis and also being aware of the ’bigger picture’.
Working closely with the wider finance team you will be responsible for producing the accounts for a well-known brand within their stable on both the UK and European basis.
Given that this division has a standalone finance function, you will need to have a pragmatic approach that is often required within a smaller business. Therefore, whilst you will be encouraged to develop your technical and theoretical knowledge, you will also be heavily involved in the transactional finance elements of the business.
