* Portfolio Management: Manage a varied portfolio of personal tax clients, ensuring deadlines are met.
* Client and HMRC Liaison: Regularly communicate with clients and HMRC to address queries and issues.
* Work Oversight: Oversee and review the work of junior staff to ensure accuracy and compliance.
* Training and Development: Assist in the training and development of junior staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
* Tax Return Preparation: Prepare Self-Assessment Tax Returns and Capital Gains Tax Property Returns.
* Client Care: Maintain strong client relationships and provide exceptional service.
* Technical Skills: Demonstrate expertise in tax and accounting principles.
* Supervisory Experience: Proven ability to supervise and develop trainees.
* Tax Compliance Management: Assist the Tax Manager in managing tax compliance for a portfolio of personal tax clients.
