Graduate SEND Teaching Assistant
Engage Education is currently working with an outstanding Independent SEND school based in Hassocks who are urgently seeking a caring and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to start in ASAP!

* Small group work and intervention support responsibilities
* 1:1 support for ASD students
This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates who want to move into a career in teaching. You will benefit from in-depth support and training from the school, and develop your knowledge of the national curriculum.
About the school:
The right candidate will need to provide educational and personal support to children aged 11-19 with a diagnosis of Autism, usually high functioning Autism or Asperger’s syndrome.
They are looking for proactive and passionate LSA’s who are keen to interact with students. This role would be suitable for trainees and Graduates, who are eager to pursue a career within Special Education.
It is not essential to have school based experience, as training can be provided. However, having some experience with Autism (either personally or professionally) would be preferable!
